Sexy Sharapova is out of Wimbledon 2009 Tournament

It is very hard to believe that the crowd favorite and 2004 champion was out of the prestigious Wimbledon 2009 tournament. Yes, Maria Sharapova was defeated in three sets by Gisela Dulko 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 in the second round of Wimbledon 2009 Championships.

In their last two meetings, Dulko just won three games and was not a challenge to the sexy Maria Sharapova.

It took only 35 minutes to complete the first set. The second set took 45 minutes while the last set took about 53 minutes time.



Sharapova made 27 unforced errors during the play while Gisela Dulko made only 23.

Sexy Maria Sharapova defeated Viktoriya Kutuzova of Ukrain in straight two sets in the first round of Wimbledon 2009 and entered into the second round of the tournament.

"I think there's still work to be done, I think all the matches that I've been playing have really helped me, not just with my tennis but physically too, getting used to the movement on the court. But I always feel like I move pretty good on grass." Said Maria Sharapova after the winning.

The first set took almost 57 minutes and the second set was withing 45 minutes of time. Viktoriya Kutuzova was 5-1 lead in the first set initially, but Maria Sharapova won the set after that.

Sharapova served 6 aces as her opponent couldn't able to serve any aces and both made 5 double faults each.

Maria Sharapova was out of Frech Open Quarter finals when she played against Slovak dominka Cibulkova yesterday.

Maria Sharapova was away from active tennis due an injury lay-off about nine months and she returned to tennis recently.
